Case description

This video shows an intraoperative recurrent laryngeal nerve monitoring using NIM-Response 3.0 system. The use of this device is particularly useful in cases of large goitre, malignant thyroid disease and in revision thyroidectomy. This would reduce risk of the nerve injury and morbidity on patient's voice following thyroidectomy. In this patient, both recurrent laryngeal nerves were intact and postoperatively no neurological deficit observed.
