Chemical burn caused by a button battery inserted in the nose 12 hours ago in a 9 years old girl when she was playing. Notice the chemical cauterization of the nasal mucosa, including nasal septum, inferior turbinate and nasal floor mucosa. This is the image of a 5 day evolution of the nasal burn.
