Case description
This video shows a method used to retract the uvula and soft palate during surgery involving the nasopharyngeal area. Postnasal mirror or angled endoscope (usually 70 degree) is then used to view the operative field. Similar exposure can be achieved by using Jacques rubber catheter passed through the nose bilaterally and then tightened.
