Case description
The anterior ethmoidal bulla arises from the lamina papyracea just behind the uncinate process. The space between the posterior free margin of the uncinate process and the anterior surface of the ethmoidal bulla is the hiatus semilunatis. In this patient the round structure seen behind the free margin of the uncinate process is a large ethmoidal bulla.
