Case description

Squamous cell carcinoma of the pinna is a relatively uncommon malignant tumor that arises from keratinocytes damage by exposure to sunlight. The diagnosis of a squamous cell carcinoma is made by biopsy. As with basal cell carcinoma, any lesion that does not heal or shows any suggestion of invasion of the underlying tissues should be biopsy.
