Case description

This figure shows a significantly swollen and oedematous right arytenoid mucosa following an allergic reaction claimed after an ingestion of mushroom soup mixed with fish. The patient felt something swollen in the throat with dysphagia without difficulty or noisy breathing. No foreign-body like material found on endoscopy and imaging was negative of any radiopaque foreign material in the hypopharyngeal and cervical oesophageal regions.
