Case description

This is video from inside the OR during an actual case of a Hamstring ACL reconstruction performed by Dr. Lane. There are many options as far as sources of new ligament are considered. It could be an allograft from a cadaver tissue, it could be a hamstring tendon graft or patella tendon graft. In this video a graft will be taken from the hamstring tendon. A scheme for ACL reconstruction is shown, the drills are used to create tunnels in tibia and femur. A screw type fixation is used to keep the graft in place. We are shown the most important moments of the surgery like harvesting the graft, adjusting it and then placing it.
