Brostrom-Gould Ankle Reconstruction

This instructional video is a continuation and follow through from previously posted arthroscopic instructional video. This will demonstrate Brostrom-Gould Lateral Ankle Ligament Reconstruction technique that is performed when you have unstable ankle and chronic ankle instability with positive anterior drawer founding and positive ‘talar tilt.’
In the beginning the author marks the incision points and describes possible options. After that an incision is made and doctor describes the anatomy of the region, structures present and visible during the surgery. The whole procedure is carefully explained and presented by Dr. Brian Weatherby with the Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas. In the end the outcome of the procedure is presented.
