Case description

Spinal meningiomas are benign lesions, more commonly found in women, usually grow inside dura mater out side spinal cord. They can occur in any part of spinal cord but more common at thoracic spinal cord. They cause pressure on spinal cord and lead to weakness of both hands and legs. MRI SCAN is diagnostic of these conditions. Micrsurgical excision is treatment of choice with complete recovery as was done in this lady.

Procedure performed by Dr Suresh Dugani.
