Case description

These are benign slow growing developmental neoplasms. They occur due mal development during intra uterine life due to inclusion of skin and its derivatives into deeper parts of cranio spinal axis. When they become big start compressing on surrounding neural structures and cause symptoms: weakness in legs hands, spasticity, gait disturbances, back pain and neck pain, meningitis. CT SCAN/MRI SCANS are diagnostic. Surgical removal is only treatment with very good out come.
