Case description

Epidermoid is tumor like mass. It is benign(non cancerous) mass occuring any where in the brain also known as pearly tumor of brain. It occures 1-2% of all brain tumors. Common sites are mid line areas of brain, supra/para sellar region, pineal region, cerebello-pontine angle, interhemispheric region, mid line spinal cord. When big, causing symptoms, head ache, convulsions, weakness, cranial nerve deficits, meningitis. C.T .SCAN M.R.I. SCAN are diagnostic, surgical removal is only line of treatment. Surgical outcome is very good as is done in this 35 yrs lady.
