Case description

Rishi Dhir - the lecture is about nerve physiology, nerve injuries, and their classification.

- The nervous system has three parts: the central, peripheral, and autonomic nervous systems.

- The neuron is the basic functional unit of the nervous system, consisting of a cell body and axon.

- The perineurium layer is the most critical layer in neurophysiology because it creates a blood-nerve barrier.

- Conduction block or neuropraxia occurs when the nerve is intact but has been distorted, and removing the obstacle can allow the nerve to start working again.
