Case description
This video shows the important steps while performing laparoscopic myomectomy. This procedure was done on 33 year old female with abnormal uterine bleeding due to myoma of size 7 x 5 cm. She wants to conserve her uterus so she was posted for laparoscopic myomectomy after physician fitness. She underwent laparoscopy under general anesthesia. The critical 5 steps were described in simplified way in the video. Her postoperative period was uneventful. The advantage pf laparoscopy is that , it is painless, minimum hospitalization, blood loss is minimal..She can resume her work within 7 days.
