Case description

There is a single fibroid, extends along lateral wall of the uterus. FIGO type 2-5. Barbed suture effectively can close the uterine myometrium. Remaining 2 areas opened were adenomyotic. TVS USG had revealed irregylar diffuse hypoechoeic ares with ecogenic margins in mm only. An attempt to remove these portions but it was difficult to identify abnormal area. Myometrium above the visible bulge was cut at 2 places. From posterior wall biposy was taken. Without cutting the barbed suture myometrium at all 3 areas was closed. With whatever exposed suture seen patient did not had any post operative complications. RL solution about 300ml is left behind in pelvis.
