Case description

Topic: Biliary Laparoscopic approach in living liver donor with two portal veins and two bile ducts in right lobe graft. Jong Man Kim, Sangjin Kim, Seo Hee Lee, Jinsoo Rhu, Jae-Won Joh. Samsung Medical Center, Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine. Liver recipients had hepatitis B-related hepatocellular carcinoma. His MELD score is 23 points and Child-Pugh class C. His living donor is his son, who is 23 years old. Preoperative images in living liver donor showed two portal vein and two bile ducts in right lobe. Estimated remnant liver volume is 33% and graft-to-recipient weight ratio (GRWR) is 0.9%. Living donor underwent laparoscopic right hepatectomy. His operation time was 210 minutes and estimated blood loss was 200mL. He was not transfused red blood cells during operation and post-operative period. His hospitalization was 7 days without complications
