Case description

Surgical video case: to decrease the incidence of residual stones in the cystic duct and subsequently lower the chances of stone migration into the common bile duct (CBD), as well as to prevent intractable pain and the development of a small gallbladder post-laparoscopic cholecystectomy, we employ the "semicut" technique on the cystic duct. This involves milking upward in the cystic duct to effectively remove any stones that may be lodged there.
