Case description

The patient presented a symptomatic gastroesophageal reflux disease. The preoperative assessement revealed and a hiatal hernia, an oesophageal hypomotility but also a complete situs inversus anatomy. A laparoscopic Toupet fundoplication was performed. The surgery in this context of situs inversus provides its own challenges and a special attention is necessary to integrate the anatomy and the organs position.
