Case description

A 54-year-old female patient (BMI 33.0) with a liver lesion in segment 7 (highly suggestive of metastasis). She is 12 months after laparoscopic sigmoid resection (T3N1c) & adjuvant chemotherapy. History of three abdominal surgeries & COVID survivor. After preoperative counseling, due to the inconvenient (posterior) location of the tumor and history of previous abdominal surgeries, the patient was scheduled for the thoracoscopic non-anatomical liver. The postoperative course was uneventful. The patient was discharged on POD 2.
