Case description

Step by step description of how to perform Pectoralis Major Myocutaneous Flap is explained in this video.

Pectoralis major myocutaneous flap is an axial flap based on the pectoral branch of the thoracoacromial artery. The pectoralis major flap comprises the pectoralis major muscle, with or without overlying skin, and may include the under-lying ribs. It is very useful in the head and neck reconstruction. It is used for reconstruction of soft tissue defects of the oropharynx, oral cavity, hypopharynx, and to cover carotid or jugular vein blow-outs.
