Case description

We present a case of a 53-years old obese female (BMI=34) with 6 months history of pain in the right lower quadrant of the abdomen, constipation, rectal bleeding, mild anemia A full blood count showed a mild, microcytic, anemia The colonoscopy was suggestive for a large ceacum lipoma. A laparoscopic assisted local resection (through a 8 cm Mc Burney) was performed. The postoperative outcome was favorable. The patient was discharged in the 4-th postop day
