Case description

A mini-invasive Heller myotomy with Dor fundoplication is demonstrated in this material. This laparoscopic procedure is executed for patients with achalasia - a disorder where patients have difficulty swallowing secondary to the impaired esophageal motility. What is more, a lower esophageal sphincter is in hypertension and in permanent abnormal constriction.
