1. Review the foundations of cardio-oncology with a focus on anthracycline- and trastuzumab-associated cardiac toxicity.
2. Discuss echocardiographic assessment of LV systolic function in chemotherapy-exposed patients, including LVEF, strain analysis, and myocardial work indices.
3. Describe practical approaches to echocardiographic surveillance of trastuzumab- and anthracycline-related cardiotoxicity, including guideline recommendations, diagnostic yield, and patient-specific risk factors.
