Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG) is becoming popular as a stand alone bariatric procedure for morbid obesity. The laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy technique has evolved over the years towards standardization. Better standardization has minimized complications as leaks, structure, and weight regain. Adequate posterior dissection up to the hiatus and the linear sleeve without a torque can be safely performed. The video presentation refers to the international consensus document on LSG as well as the expert panel consensus where our centre’s technique is shared.
