This video shows the state after gastric banding with the conversion to sleeve gastrectomy. The first step is removing of the gastric band and fibrinous tissue underneath the band and around gastroesophageal junction (EG junction). The next step is cutting off by staples approximately 85% fragment of the stomach and reducing its capacity. The last step is the extraction of the deleted gastric fragment outside the body, washing, extraction fluid accumulated in the operated area, removing of laparoscopic equipment and suture wounds.
