Case description

Surgery (esophagectomy) is currently the mainstay of esophageal cancer therapy. The surgery can be performed if the neoplastic infiltration is limited to the esophageal wall and no metastases were detected. Minimaly invasive esophagectomy is currently a new approach to radical esophagectomy that avoids big incisions especially the thoracic incision & yet has an excellent oncological result especialy regarding the mediastinal lymphadenectomy.
