Reverse total shoulder arthroplasty is currently being used to treat selected patients with disabling shoulder arthropathy. It can be used for treatment an arthropathy with a massive rotator cuff tear or a disorder with another etiology like rheumatoid arthritis, trauma, or revision arthropathy.
