Case description

This video shows high fidelity individualized physical three-dimensional (3-D) models of renal units made with materials that approximate the properties of renal tissue to allow surgeons to use robotic platforms to resect the models prior to performing robot assisted nephron sparing surgery. Pre-operative resectable physical 3D models can be constructed and used as individualized surgical simulation for improved outcomes of trainees and surgeons alike.

This video received Honorable Mention at the AUA 2015 Award Winning Video Session in New Orleans, LA.
