The following video presents an athermal division and selective sutureligation of the dorsal vein complex during robot-assistedlaparoscopic radical prostatectomy (RALRP). Purpose of this video is demonstrate technique and outcomes of non-selective suture ligation before transection of dorsal vein complex prior to bladderneckdissection versus selective suture ligation after transection of dorsal vein complex prior to anastomosis. In adjusted analysis, selective versus non-selective suturing was associated with shorter operative time, higher urinary function scores at 5 months, better continence rates at 5 months.
