The following material shows a technique of robotic laparoendoscopic single-site radical nephrectomy. Laparoscopic radical nephrectomy (LRN) is the actual gold-standard for the treatment of clinically localized renal cell carcinoma. Laparoscopic single-site surgery (LESS) represents a progression in laparoscopic surgery. Unfortunately, LESS is challenging secondary to technical constraints encountered including, lack of triangulation, clashing of instruments, and limited operating space. In an attempt to overcome these limitations the da Vinci surgical system has been applied to LESS and termed robotic laparoendoscopic single-site surgery (R-LESS).
