Case description

In this video we show an uncommon complication after anatomic segmentectomy performed through a small incision of only 2 cm. The patient suffered from TBC so the apical artery and B1 were attached and dissection of the segmental vessels and bronchus was difficult. An accidental hole was created in the bifurcation of B2 and B3. Two different interrupted sutures (one double and one simple) were placed in different directions to avoid stenosis of segmental bronchus. The postoperative course of the patient was uneventful.
