Case description
Patient with recurrent pulmonary infections since childhood. A CT-scan revealed an independient left lower aberrant basal segment . The patient was operated by uniportal VATS (anatomic basal segmentectomy). The scanlan instruments were used: Gonzalez-Rivas dissector and lymph node grasper (Scanlan International). The postoperative course was unenvenful and the patient was discharged on the second postoperative day
