ABSTRACT
This presentation describes our approach to management of brachial plexus injuries. This includes a description of the nerve injury classification and the appropriate electrodiagnostic tools used for assessing these challenging cases. Additionally, case examples are presented to review how to examine and diagnosis these patients. Surgical management strategies are also presented for root injuries through various combinations of nerve transfers. Finally, exposure of the brachial plexus is discussed through either a supraclavicular approach or infraclavicular approach.
