Case description

Youssef proposed that shoulder tendonitis can be treated in a manual therapy session through several exercises specific to shoulder tendonitis. Tendonitis is when a tendon is inflamed. It can happen to any tendon in the body. When a tendon is inflamed, it can cause swelling, pain, and discomfort. Another problem called tenosynovitis is linked to tendonitis. This is the inflammation of the lining of the tendon sheath around a tendon. This is considered a new breakthrough in the world of medicine, specifically in the specialty of physical therapy.During the session, the tendon is stretched and the muscles connected to the tendon are strengthened, because it is certain that these muscles are weak. Then the shoulder joint is moved at an angle of 90 degrees and then upwards, and all this without any force until it reaches to range of motion. The duration of the session is from 20 minutes to 30 minutes.
