Dr. Latimer is pursuing an academic career in periodontology involving teaching, clinical practice, and translational research. She is also an avid medical illustrator; she enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion for periodontology through original, digital drawings on social media as @theperioartist. Both her research and artwork have been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
