Case description

Lichen planus is a relatively common inflammatory disease of the oral mucous membranes, which may result either from local abnormalities of immune function or as a drug reaction. There is a wide range of appearances of lichen planus in the mouth ranging from a nonerosive variety through minor erosive up to a major erosive type. The variation in the appearance of nonerosive lichen planus with its characteristic white lace like reticulation's can be seen here.
