Case description

While it has recently become popular to diagnose the presence of enlarged adenoids using endoscopy, the most accurate assessment of the size of the adenoids and their effect on the posterior nasal airway is by a simple lateral x-ray. Not only can you see grossly enlarged adenoids in this x-ray, but you can also see grossly enlarged tonsils.
