Rhinolith
Case description
If an inert foreign body remains within the nasal cavity for many years it may become surrounded by a calcified coating as seen in this left nasal cavity. Such a "nasal stone" is termed a rhinolith. Rhinolith have a whitish grey colour, and are hard and gritty to palpation.
