Case description

This large polyp extending anteriorly out of the right middle meatus has pushed the middle turbinate medially. The polyp has thinned the middle turbinate, apparently as a result of constant pressure against the nasal septum. This polyp originated with a broad base from the free margin of a medially deflected uncinate process. No other pathology was encountered in the entire ethmoid during search.
