Juvenile Angiofibroma

Recurrent episodes of epistaxis in adolescent males should alert the examiner to the possibility of a juvenile angiofibroma. The left choana of this 13-year-old boy is completely blocked by an angiofibroma. Note how the nasal septum has been displaced to the right.
