Case description

Targets: 1.Describe localisation: midclavicular line, sternal angle, clavicle, sternoclavicular joint, xiphoid process of sternum, costal margin. 2. Amount of the ribs and intercostal spaces. 3. Trace the heart borders, apex, location of the valves and ausculatory areas. 4. Describe the surface markings of the lung, pleura, lung fissures and lobes. 5. Identify the position of the costodiaphragmatic and costomediastinal recesses of the pleura. Presented and edited by Dr.Akram Jaffar (PhD). Filmed by Mr Nasser Zahra (Lab technician). The session was attended by second year students at College of Medicine/ University of Sharjah, 20 September 2011.
