Case description

The lid is unrolled with the hardly Desmar lid retractor. An incision is made on the Arlt line with 100 micron Fugo Blade tip. The incision is advanced gradually, at the same time keeping the pressure of the retractor. This makes the bleeding not so extensive and spreads tarsal plate. First the tarsal plate has been cut throughout the lenght with use of 600 micron Fugo Blade to undermine both sides of the incision. Any bleeding is blocked on that way. From the right to the left side is applied A5 zero absorbable suture. The needle goes through the space under the fissure tarsal plate on both sides. The model suture is applied. As it is dragged the lid periphery turns outwards. After closing the suture on the left end, the suture is protacted subcutaneously to reach the starting point on the right side, where it is attached to the tail end.
