Case description

The video shows the procedure of inferior oblique myomectomy, which takes just a few minutes. At first Fugo blade is used to open the lower fornix, lateral to the inferior rectus muscle. Going through the thick capsule, the fleshy inferior oblique is reached. It is catched and a muscle hook is passed underneath its fully belly. Then, with neither bleeding nor burning, the exposed muscle is incised with Fugo blade. The procedure is finished when the conjunctiva is closed with a couple of sutures.
