Case description
This is a 1 level anterior cervical discectomy and fusion that I have performed using a low profile implant. This should minimize the amount of post-operative swollowing issues that can arise with traditional implant systems (which involved a plate). This procedure take around 35-45 minutes to perform and it can be done on an outpatient basis is select individuals. The goal of the surgery is to decompress the nerves and spinal cord.
