Case description

Video presents dr. Pakzaban demonstrating MCA (middle cerebral artery) aneurysm clipping. Two types of aneurysm are shown in the video: thin-walled saccular (at the MCA bifurcation) and thick-walled fusiform (incorporating the proximal 2 cm of the temporal M2 division). More dangerous one, saccular aneurysm, is clipped, but the fusiform one is reinforced by wrapping with a use of Musli gauze. Fusiform aneurysm poses lower risk of rupture than saccular one.
