Case description

The film shows dr. Pakzaban presenting the microvascular decompression in treating a difficult neuralgia of trigeminal nerve in patient with duplicated SCA (superior cerebellar artery). One of the SCA arteries is located below the nerve V and by pulsating against it, it causes facial pain. Video presents the artery separation from the nerve and placement of the teflon cushion between the artery and nerve. The surgery solved the problem with pain. Patient was so happy when she was able to wash her face painlessly for the first time since very long that she cried.
