There is so much space for condylar base fixations that one sometimes places plates in biomechanically suboptimal locations. This 3AXP plate forces fixation along the ideal osteosynthesis lines. Furthermore, the plate utilizes a third axis of bone reinforcement within the condyle. Now, fixation will be truly rigid.
