Case description

One of the most common surgical procedures is inguinal hernia repair. The most important complication of inguinal hernia is incarceration of the viscera. In most cases, after placing the patient in the Trendelenburg position at about 30 degrees, the viscera return into the abdominal cavity without manipulation and merely due to the force of gravity. In this video, you can see a laparoscopic view of taxis in a left-sided incarcerated hernia.
