Case description

Male patient with a 2-day history of abdominal pain, mainly in the right iliac fossa. Thinking of acute appendicitis a computed tomography was performed which reported pneumoperitoneum with gas in the intestinal wall. A diagnostic laparoscopy was performed with the biopsy of epiploic appendix.
