Case description

Achalasia Cardia is an uncommon disease and most of the times diagnosed serendipitously by primary physician due to the same reason. Commonly presents with dysphagia to solids and liquids, halitosis, regurgitation, chest pain, heart burn and other symptoms of long duration. It might be a risk factor for carcinoma esophagus too. Multiple surgical modalities are available to address the problem one of which is laparoscopic Heelr's Cardiomytomy. Even though I do POEM for Achalasia, I often do Heller's in some of the patients.
