Case description

A 39 year old female presented with upper abdominal pain since 3 months, generalised weakness and headache since 2 months. She was a known case of type two diabetes mellitus. Her USG abdomen revealed hypoechoic mass lesion with increased vascularity in the tail of pancreas. EUS showed hypoechoic mass lesion about 4x4 cms in the tail of pancreas. EUS guided FNAC was suggestive of Neuroendocrine tumour. She was subjected to Laparoscopic Distal Pancreatectomy with uneventful recovery.
